Professor Perry Hobson, PhD is the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement at Taylor’s University in Malaysia
His academic background is in hospitality/tourism and he holds a Bachelor’s degree from the UK, a Masters from the USA, and completed his PhD in Australia. He has been the Editor-in-Chief of the SSCI indexed Journal of Vacation Marketing since 1999, and was installed as a Fellow of the Council of Australasian Universities for Tourism & Hospitality Education (CAUTHE) in 2014 and made a Honorary Fellow of the UK’s Council for Hospitality Management Education (CHME) in 2017. He sits on the Board of The International Centre of Excellence in Hospitality & Tourism Education (THE-ICE).
